CHRISTMAS IN SALLANCHES

Sallanches is our closest BIG town, and they do a more child like friendly Christmas opening compared to all the pomp in Megeve.

Well December came and went and seriously with no snow. For a ski station this is the end, but we still managed a little ski and my friends came to visit.

Ahhhh Laduree from Paris originally, famous for their Macaroons, if you can afford 7.50€ for a Chocolate then this is the spot for you.

The artist showcased this month is Catalano, Love his work, all sculptured from one piece.

In November we had a new addition to the family - Ella, born to my sister in law a beautiful little girl full of life and it's so nice to buy pink, having two boys I love the fact that there is a girl in our midst.

MOVING SWIFTLY ON

...... I need to get this blog updated, gosh, I am so behind and so want to keep this blog going but time runs away with you and then, you are in 2015.

Well my fourth year living in France and I now have a little job, feels huge at times, I am a chalet maid and not my idea of fun at all, cleaning rich peoples toilets for a living and shining up their mirrors. But its a job and it brings in the dough. Been so busy this holiday actually lost 8 kg but in true French style only the non-French have noticed, the others to busy in their lives even to look up, but unperturbed I am carrying on.

So where were we.....on holiday in November down South I believe.
