On Sunday we headed for the Piste to the K-bane who sell light snack food. I had a tartiflette which amounts to potatoes and cheese with bacon. Seb came with Hercule - his new pet. Actually long story cut short he works for a wealthy family (understatement of the year) from Geneva and runs one of there many holiday homes in Megeve, and they (the family) thought it was a good idea to get a pet. So they got two. Yip two lab puppies. So when they were proving too much they left one with Seb to look after, and that's how Seb acquired a dog. Life of the rich and famous. He's gorgeous though and we all love him.

We then went and tried our hand at Biathlon. Great fun, loved it except there's no picture of me but I cleared all five marks. Very proud of myself. Samuel thinks this is the sport for him - haven't yet mentioned you have to nordic ski about 5 km's before you actually shoot the marks down.
A few weeks ago at Barabelles we had our first booking for a birthday party. It went extremely well and all 15 kids seemed to have a great time. I made a smarties-kit-kat cake for the first time. Turned out extremely well.
In this weather you eat local fare to keep you warm. This was dinner last week with Claire and Seb. I'm still recovering but boy was it good.
Fondue and a Vacherin which you melt in the oven all washed down with a delicious Chateau Clarke.
