CATCHING UP

Well it's been a while and I feel I need to catch up.  So since May we had June and that was rather busy for me.  We had a wedding to attend in the first week and we went up to Brittany.  It was a great weekend and in true French style the wedding lasted two days.  It was held in La Baule on the coast.

 The bridal couple outside the Mairie,  not all couples get married in Church here but you have to go through the Mayor (La Mairie) first, then if you want to on to the Church.  Sophie and Sebastien (Manu's cousin) had a civil ceremony and then vin de honor which is drinks and snacks.  The rest of the afternoon was left up to us and dinner and dancing was held at a gite from 18h00.

Then we headed to the beach for lunch, and as it was my birthday, my mother-in-law treated us to half a lobster tail each.  It was great.

.....and the rest of the evening went without photos and lots of fun.  Guess what arrived for the first course - LOBSTER TAIL, hahahahaha first time I've ever had lobster and twice in one day.

This was the pancake man who came along for the next day to feed everyone, it was such a great day.
