We went to the UK to catch up with my folks, The summer was hot hot hot in the UK, compared to the Alps we just had rain for two months, now in September the sun seems to have returned.
So first stop my friend Heather in Harpenden. Fun and so nice to catch up. We met in Hotel School over twenty years ago and still keep in touch.

Heather and Leon, thanks for the lovely braais Leon
They are coming over Christmas for some skiing and catching up. Can't wait. Friendships are precious.
We also did a spot of berry picking and Dunstable downs to fly kites. Perfect up there with the wind.
Dunstable Downs
So next stop was my Aunt and Uncles in Droitwich. We stopped at my cousins first for a surprise 80th celebration for my Uncle John and then spent a few nights with them.

And this is my lovely cousin - Neil, I have two other lovely cousins - his brothers but they weren't there so mention of them I'm afraid.

My mother and her sister - Aunty Madeline and Uncle John.
DROITWICH
I loved this town, we also went to the Lido but I couldn't take photos as the policy was no photos of other children. It is one of the only inland salt water pool remaining in the UK. It was lovely. Droitwich itself is know for it's Salt works as the town is situated on massive deposits of salt.
